Niki brings over a decade of experience in yoga, with a trauma-aware, therapeutic approach rooted in anatomy, breathwork, and self-regulation. She began her practice to improve posture and physical presence but soon discovered its power for mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner healing.
Born in India and raised in Canada, Niki studied at Yoga Cara Studios with Thomas Hicks and holds certifications in BCRPA, Vipassana, and Kundalini yoga through Yogi Bhajan. Her teachings are informed by her recovery from trauma, personal healing, and a deep study of the human psyche, drawing inspiration from Japji Sahib, Eckhart Tolle, and somatic science.
Niki sees yoga as a path to reclaiming choice, calming the nervous system, and cultivating wisdom. She also expresses this journey through writing and art at nikikaur.ca.
